On Saturday May 5, 2018, the SPHS Choir performed at the Music in the Parks competition in Santa Clarita, Calif. Students in grades 9-12 won first place in their category with a superior rating (the highest rating a group can receive), most outstanding high school vocalist (Michael Samudio), and best overall high school vocal ensemble. Congratulations to the choir and their director, Lia Donovan-Jones.
