On Saturday, May 30, 2026, the Autry Museum opened a major exhibition titled Life, Liberty, and Los Angeles. One current SPHS student, Alexis (Brylee) Woo, and one SPHS alumnus, Brandon Park, were selected by the Autry’s senior curator, Carolyn Brucken, to share their work as part of the exhibition. Brucken viewed the students' work during the student exhibition and curated it into this show.
This exhibition shares the stories of diverse Angelenos and how their ideas of life, liberty, and happiness inspired the city’s growth and amplified the opportunities and contradictions expressed in the nation’s founding principles. Congratulations to Brylee and Brandon for their amazing artwork that is now part of this major exhibition through January 31, 2027.
