Fifth-grade students at Arroyo Vista Elementary School welcomed fellow students, parents, and guests on Friday, December 12, 2025, to showcase their annual state projects.
The projects include handcrafted floats decorated with natural materials patterned after Rose Parade floats, PowerPoint presentations, blueprints, stamps, and essays with details about a state’s history, geography, commerce, symbols, and sports teams.
Distinguished guests for the day’s presentations included the Tournament of Roses Rose Court and SPUSD Superintendent Angela Baxter. Thank you to Lisa Clark, Reina Rogers, Michelle Taormina, and Erin Wahbe for their guidance and support of the students and their projects.
Go, Wildcats!
