On Monday, August 12, 2025, South Pasadena Unified School District (SPUSD) welcomed 12 new certificated staff members during a New Teacher Orientation held at the District Office Board Room. 

SPUSD School Board members, along with Superintendent Angela Elizondo Baxter and the District leadership team, extended a warm welcome to the new educators. The orientation and training, led by Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Judy Correnti and Administrator of Programs and Personnel Services Katy Nielsen, included information to help them prepare and to provide motivation for the school year. 

Welcome, new South Pasadena Unified teachers! We look forward to seeing everyone on the first day of school on August 13, 2025.
