2025 Congressional Art Competition

Congratulations to SPHS senior Jay Chen, who earned fourth place, and juniors Abigail Hillman and Sven Leu, who earned honorable mentions in the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. Congresswoman Judy Chu announced the winners during an awards ceremony held at Pasadena Elks Lodge on May 10, 2025. SPHS students exhibited more than 70 works of art and photography at the competition.

Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in each congressional district. Students submit entries to their representative’s office, and panels of congressional district artists select the winning entries.
Congratulations to the winning students, to all the students who were selected to exhibit their work, and to their teachers, Aimee Levie-Hultman (SPHS Art) and Rouzanna Berberian (SPHS Photography).

Go, Tigers!
