On October 3, 2019, 48 South Pasadena High School (SPHS) sophomores, juniors, and seniors visited two college campuses – California State University (CSU), Channel Islands and the University of California (UC), Santa Barbara. Students participated in admission presentations and campus tours with the goal being to offer them the chance to explore various types of colleges. The deadline for interested seniors to apply to the CSU and UC systems is November 30, 2019. Thank you to the field trip chaperones – Ruth Carlson, Olinda Cazares, Marylin Garcia, and Sara Miranda -- for helping make the day a success.
