Director of Facilities and Maintenance

     SOUTH PASADENA, Calif. (March 5, 2019) – On February 12, 2019, the South Pasadena Unified School District (SPUSD) approved hiring Alfredo Perez to serve as the Director of Facilities and Maintenance effective March 1, 2019.

     Perez comes to South Pasadena from El Segundo Unified School District where he worked for the past four years, serving as Director of Maintenance and Operations. His experience working with and supervising staff at the school sites and the district level will allow him to seamlessly transition to SPUSD. The SPUSD vacancy is a result of former Director Tim Mawhinney, being hired as Director of Bond Construction/Special Projects, where he will focus primarily on supervision of bond construction projects funded by Measure SP.
