New students to the District in 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade who have just moved to South Pasadena and need to register for High School for the 2014-2015 school year need to contact the Registrar, Ms. Angie Madrigal, to make an appointment for their registration. The preferred method of contact is by email: amadrigal@fc.spusd.net .   Registration is a two-part process: part one is to register your child online, using the AERIES INTERNET REGISTRATION system, or AIR. Parents may access this by clicking on the following link: my.spusd.net . Once the online registration has been completed, parents will meet with the registrar, and must bring all required documents with them: two printed copies of their AIR registration, birth certificate or passport of student, student immunization records, and the three required proofs of residency (please see acceptable proofs at the bottom of this page).

For 2014-2015, if you are a South Pasadena resident, and your child did not attend SPMS for 8th grade for 2013-2014, or SPHS for 2013-2014 as a 9th, 10th or 11th grader, and you want to enroll them in SPUSD for the 2014-2015 school year, you will need to register your incoming 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student with Ms. Madrigal. This service will be available from mid-April 2014 on through mid-July 2014, by appointment only.  The start of school for the 2014-2015 school year will be Thursday, August 21, 2014.

You may not register for school until you reside in South Pasadena and have your appropriate three proofs of residence, and registration must be done by the parent or legal guardian of the child. Guardianships and Dual Family Residencies must be approved in advance by the Personnel Office at the District Office. For more information, please look under "District Enrollment Policies" under "Guardianship Information" and "Dual Residency Requirements".
