We are SPUSD's on-site afterschool, Spring Camp, and Summer Camp program. We offer care for students entering kindergarten through eighth grade. Please contact the Extended Day office for registration.

SUMMER CAMP 2011 INFORMATION SPUSD Summer Camp 2011 preparations are underway! We will be open for 9 weeks, starting Monday, June 20th and going through Friday, August 19th. We will have a weekly field trip, twice weekly swim days and games, arts and other fun activities. Registration will begin April 18th. You can pick up materials at any of our school sites or at the District Office. An informational brochure and calendar of activities for the first four weeks is available at the bottom of this page. Fees are as follows and are charged weekly: 1-3 days are $95/week and 4-5 days are $135/week. If your child is registered for a summer school class offered by SPEF, you will get a $5 discount for the weeks that your child is attending both programs. We also offer discounts for siblings. Please call the office for more information. INCOMING KINDERGARTEN CHILDREN We conducted our Kindergarten lottery for afterschool care on July 18th. If you have not received any information regarding placement in our afterschool care program for your kindergarten child, please call the office for more information. Currently, we are only taking names for the wait list. We do still have some spaces available for Kindercare (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM). There will be an orientation session at each elementary site on Tuesday, August 16th at 6:00 PM. You will be able to meet the Kindercare staff, get more information on the program and register, at that time. If you have any additional questions, please contact Anita McLane at 626.441.5810, xt. 1125. 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR Currently, we are only taking names for the wait list at all three elementary school: Arroyo Vista, Monterey Hills and Marengo; for the afternoon program (dismissal - 6:00 PM). We still have open spots for Kindercare (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM) and Early AM care (6:15 AM - 8:00 AM). You may e-mail or call us to have your child added to the waiting list. You will need to include your name and your child's name, their school site, their current grade, and a contact phone number. When your child's turn has been reached, we will contact you immediately. You do not need to contact us each school year to be added to the list - once you're on, you're on. You will receive an e-mail or verbal confirmation that we have added your child to the list. Please keep the e-mail for your records.
NEW FEE SCHEDULE We have raised our rates for the new school year. Monthly tuition will go up $10 per month. Please look below for our revised fee table. If you have any questions regarding your payment, please call the office or ask a staff member at your site.
