Tiger Newspaper has received a Gold Medal award from the prestigious Columbia Scholastic Press Association for all work completed throughout the 2022-2023 school year. 

This honor is awarded by Columbia University and a panel of judges (advisers, journalists, and other industry professionals) who evaluate each entrant, looking for exceptional qualities in everything from writing and editing, to design and presentation, to coverage, photography, and social media presence. Tiger staff received a very detailed critique showing the scoring in 186 individual criteria to help improve the publication in future years.
